"I'm very impressed with your art. Conventional dog portraits are generally a bore, but yours are delightfully expressive! " - Linda King, USA
Dogs have played an important role in people's lives --- from muse to companion to soul mate. A dog can be a person's lifeline during difficult times...
At the Canvas Dog Studio, your pet portrait is more than just a painting.
It is ... that deep bond
... that warm look
... the energy captured in a work of art, one that you will be proud to display on your wall.
When you commission your pet's portrait you will have the opportunity to enjoy watching your painting take shape.
A custom dog or pet portrait is a great way to commemorate your pet. When you are thinking about choosing a unique gift, a pet portrait is a wonderful gesture!

What's Involved in a Custom Pet Portrait?
What your pet means to you... I translate into a painting. I take in as much information as I can so that I can get a sense of your pet's likes, dislikes... anything that will lead to a sense of visual imagery.
Send me your pet's best photos. I can help you choose the right photo for your pet's portrait. It is from these photos that I work on the preliminary ideas for your pet's painting.
Involving you in the process helps ensure that you are completely happy. While I am painting your pet's portrait, I will send you photos to keep you up to date.
The entire process takes from 4 to 12 weeks. Drawings can be done within 1 to 2 weeks.
We donate a percentage of all commissions to dog, pet or any animal rescue of your choice.
Feel free to visit my studio however if you prefer to place an order online, secure payments can be made online. We accept major credit card payments through www.paypal.com (credit card or debit).
I require a 50% deposit before I begin your custom commission.
The Gallery is updated periodically with new contemporary paintings.
Limited edition prints are available of my dog paintings.
